Terms of Service

  1. Do not fill the Box above the sides. An overfilled dumpster cannot be transported. Do not load heavy material on top or to one side of the box.

  2. Heavy materials including dirt, gravel, concrete, stucco, composition roofing, sand etc. must be loaded in Boxes specified for their weight (10 yards box). No WET concrete is allowed.

  3. Boxes ordered for recycling materials must be filed with only one specified material. Recycling Boxes include Dirt, Concrete and Asphalt.

  4. If general debris is mixed into the dirt or concrete boxes, the box then becomes a general debris load and is subject to weight limits. Overweight fees are charged at a rate of $ 95.00 per ton or any portion. The final invoice may take up to 30 days to be sent to the customer.

  5. If a recycling receipt is required, please let us know before we pick up the dumpster. The dumpster price and dump fees may vary depending on the city’s recycling requirements.

  6. No hazardous material in Box such as oil, paint, chemicals, asbestos or any other item defined as hazardous by the Federal, State or local laws is allowed. A minimum of $ 150.00 will be charged to return hazardous material found. No tires are allowed in any dumpster ($20.00 per tire will be charged if found in the dumpster).

  7. The customer takes full responsibility for any damage to sidewalks, curbs, driveways, lawns etc. SANTOS DUMPSTER will not be responsible for damage to driveways, curbs, pathways, etc. The customer acknowledges that the container and truck transporting the container are heavy and may cause some damage on surfaces. We suggest putting plywood or another form of protection to the dumpster to sit on to avoid any damage or scratches.

    Customer hereby releases, waives, and discharges SANTOS DUMPSTER and all of its employees from all liability to customers for all loss or damage and any claims or demands therefore, on account of injury to any person(s) or property, or resulting in the death of any person or otherwise while the drop-off container is upon the customer’s property, also waiving the right to sue SANTOS DUMPSTER for any of the above. The customer warrants that the customer is fully aware of the risks and hazards of the use and existence of the drop-off container upon the customer’s premises and voluntarily assumes full responsibility for all risks of loss, injury, or damage that may be sustained.

  8. The dumpster door must be closed and corrected. If the driver is not able to pick up the dumpster due to an open or not totally closed door, a $150.00 fee will be charged. Extra day’s rental fee may apply.

  9. Box rental time is up to 7 days. You must call or email for pick up, after the 7th day, $25.00 per day will be charged.

    Please call when your box is available for pickup. Boxes are NOT automatically picked up after 7 days. Pickups take 1-4 business days from the date of your call (Day 1 is considered the business day after you call in. Business days are considered Mon-Fri. You may pre-schedule your pick up at the time you schedule your delivery to ensure an exact pickup date. Rental fees stop on the day your box becomes available for pick up. The customer is responsible to ensure no cars/objects are blocking access for pickup

  10. It is preferred, but not necessary to have someone onsite for delivery or removal of the container. The driver will use their best judgment and place the container in the safest accessible area when delivering the container. However, if an onsite contact is not available for delivery, you will be responsible for all the charges involved with the relocation of the dumpster should it be necessary. For removal; the customer agrees to provide unobstructed access to the equipment on the scheduled pick up day; if the equipment is inaccessible customer is subject to additional pick-up charges, as terms and conditions apply

  11. DO NOT move the dumpster. The customer will be responsible for any damage caused by moving the dumpster or loading it with a machine (Bobcat, Excavator, etc.).

  12. PERMITS: If the dumpster is placed on the street per customer’s request or due to a lack of off-street access, the customer will be responsible for obtaining a street permit from the City.

    * In the rainy season, we suggest that you cover your load to avoid paying more for water weight.

    Most materials will not be affected by rain meaning they will not absorb water weight. Material such as drywall, wood, carpet, etc. will absorb water and this may add weight to the disposal. The dumpsters themselves are not watertight and therefore cannot hold liquid of any kind.

    When we arrive at a disposal/recycling facility, the truck and loaded dumpster are weighed on a drive-on scale. After the truck dumps out of the dumpster, it is then weighed again. The difference is what your material weighed.

    Wet or dry the weight is the weight. This we have no control over. If your material weighs more than you prepaid for the disposal allowance, you are then billed for the balance.

    Signature below or reply via email constitutes acceptance of the above services and terms of service and authorizes SANTOS DUMPSTER to charge the customer’s credit card for the amount described above or any accessed fee listed on the terms of service.
